A new industrial brewing company is inaugurated in Spain: Cervezas Gran Vía
Cervezas Gran Vía has already announced its beginning in the beer sector in Spain at the end of July 2020 and on November 9, its first factory will finally be inaugurated in Alcalá de Guadaira, Seville. To announce its launch, a private event will be held in which Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla, president of the Junta de Andalucía, will participate, together with the public authorities and shareholders of the company.
The factory will have a capacity for 40 million liters per year and has been financed with the Program for Reindustrialization and Strengthening of Industrial Competitiveness of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism. It begins with an investment of more than 20 million euros, whose great bet is to offer a beer at a very competitive price in the industrial sector and exclusively for the Horeca Channel.
The company has Javier Segarra Martínez as Commercial General Director, who was former Commercial Director of Schweppes, Mahou and Osborne, and with the prestigious brewmaster Boris de Mesones, who has participated in numerous projects both in the artisanal and industrial brewing world. According to Cervezas Gran Vía " we have come to change the rules of the sector with a beer created by hoteliers only for hoteliers ", " we recover the prices of the 90s and keep them stable for 5 years < / i> ”.
At the moment, the company only offers draft beer of a single variety. It is a blonde Lager beer, made with barley malt and German and Spanish hops, with 4.5% alcohol by volume, following the tradition of the German Purity Law. They are looking for a fresh, balanced and easy to drink beer.
